The company undertakes to use its best endeavors to operate holidays as described.

The company shall not be liable for any failure to perform any part of the holiday.

The company reserves the right to make alterations or cancel any of the tours if insufficient passengers. Clients will be notified.

VAT Prices: Price of VAT is at the standard rate. Any variations by government in this rate on items chargeable at standard rate will necessitate alterations in prices.

Loss of Baggage: Passengers baggage and personal property taken on all bus tours remains at all times the passengers responsibility and is at the passengers sole risk, and the company shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage thereto however caused.

Bookings: Your are welcome to book on as many tours as you wish. All bookings must be made on the booking form along with the deposit.

Complaints must be made within 7 days from the end of the holiday.

Holiday insurance British Tours: It is advisable to take out insurance to cover you in the event of a cancellation. Cancellation: Written notice must be given to the company, clients must give reasons as set out in the insurance companys conditions laid out. If cancellation occurs more than six weeks prior to departure then the deposit only is forfeited. Cancellation received less than six weeks prior to departure will be subject to the following scale of cancellation charges.

Your Holiday Insurance: We feel that it is important that you are covered by adequate insurance on your holiday, and therefore you are automatically covered under a block insurance scheme which has specifically arranged by Travellers Protection Services Limited within UK Insure Limited and IGI Insurance Company Limited. The IGI are members of the Association of British Insurers.   A summary of cover is given below.

International Assistance Service: The emergency medical service operated by Travellers Medical Service provides an essential addition to the Holiday insurance cover.  For emergency assistance all that is needed is a reverse telephone call. IMPORTANT : this is a summary cover.  Full details of policy terms, conditions and exclusions will be sent with your holiday confirmation invoice and you are strongly advised to read this carefully. Travel which is or would be against you Doctors advice, or is for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment will render the policy invalid. There is a policy excess of £25 for each and every claim other than claims for loss of deposit where there is an excess of £5. Loss of deposit and cancellation cover is effective from the time your booking is accepted and all other cover becomes effective on the outward date of travel.

56 days or more before departure - Deposit only

55 to 28 days before departure - 30%

27 to 14 days before departure - 50%

13 to 7 days before departure - 65%

6 to 1 day before departure - 80% Day of departure or later 100%

 

 

Abbotts of Leeming reserve the right to increase the cost of your holiday should any significant change occur in the price of the various holiday elements.

The information in this brochure has been carefully compiled and is published in good faith.  However, the service or facilities provide by the hoteliers may be altered or discontinued, and it must therefore be pointed out that the contents of the brochure do not constitute any representation other than at the time of printing the descriptions were honestly held to be accurate.

 

Deposits and Payments: A non returnable deposit of £30 must accompany the reservations of each seat booked. We accept all major Credit Cards. The balance of the holiday cost must be paid for at least 4 weeks prior to the holiday departure date. Monthly payments can be arranged on all tours. Pick up points: Ripon, Bedale, Thirsk, Richmond, Northallerton, Leeming, Catterick and Catterick Garrison.  Other pick up points by arrangement. Darlington pick can be arranged. Minimum numbers are required to operate any holiday.

CONSUMER PROTECTION INSURANCE

In accordance with the EEC directive on Package holiday, all passengers booking with G Abbott & Sons are fully insured through Status Insurance Management Limited against the loss of all monies paid to us for the holiday and repatriation if required due to insolvency.
